Our TeamDiane Nettifee, President | Deborah Lowrey Asberry, Principal | David Specht, Associate David Specht David Specht is a professional consultant, facilitator and educator. He also serves on the faculty for Woodbury College in Montpelier, Vt., in its masters program in meditation and applied conflict studies. He is one of the founders of Seeing Things Whole, Inc., the nonprofit organization out of which Magis ventures grew. In his work with Magis Ventures, Mr. Specht works with individuals, organizations and communities around planning, collaborative problem solving, managing difficult conversations, developing values-based decision-making practices, various forms of conflict engagement, and providing training in the areas of managing difficult conversations and meetings. A founder of Seeing Things Whole, Mr. Specht’s clients over the years have included organizations from around the country and have included for-profit organizations in the manufacturing, financial, entertainment and service sectors; religious, educational and nonprofit institutions; and government programs and agencies. He is a graduate of Woodbury College’s conflict management program, holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and a Master of Divinity from Andover Newton Theology School, in Newton Center, Mass. He is a contracted mediator, consultant and trainer with the Meditation and Training Collaborative in Greenfield, Mass. and the Dispute Resolution Center at Woodbury College. He is a member of the National Association for Conflict Resolution. He resides with his family in Massachusetts.
